Day 204:
This palm size butterfly flew out of the bushes while I was watering. The wings were very pretty on the inside although quite translucent .

I was intrigued more with the splashes of orange on the bark (lower right) which was not visible with the naked eye.

I was lying on some grass and managed to capture two of a handful of butterflies/moths feeding off something and also there appeared to be some sort of courtship taking place as well.

Day 189:
We are being visited more often at the moment as winter sets in. The bigger female on the ledge has a deformed right front leg and we wondered a couple of years ago when we first spotted her as a baby whether she would survived. The next generation of younger one often seek out her friendship.

Another Aloe flower head but ..... I noticed how once open the single florets loose their color and become quite spikey.

Early morning visitor while I was on the computer this morning. Previously one jumped in thru the window while hubby was on the computer ..... I do not know who got the biggest fright!
