Day 157:
I have no idea what this shrub is called and am not sure it is even indigenous but it adds another colour to the garden being silvery green. It does propagate like mad. The flowers are also mad ..... this is the bud!

I do have a thing about feathers .... if I come across them I nearly aways pick them up. These are two guinea fowl feathers that I brought back from the berg.

The myth goes when the aloes start flowering the sardines are on the move ...... well the aloes are sending out their buds and the sardines have been sighted north of East London.
