Day 168:
I have just enjoyed the most wonderful solo exhibition by a local artist, Hendrik Stroebel whose love is ceramics and hand embroidered panels, exhibited in collage form or within a ceramic frame as above. Mind blowing!
Yes, he does it all. Mostly using stranded embroidery threaded and working with 3 different coloured strands together at a time. This piece is apprioximately 6 x 4 inch in size.
Does he do his own embroidery? It's stunning.
